Introducing the KIR Royale Cupcake inspired by KIR, a cocktail made with champagne and black current liqueur. Th KIR originated in Dijon but, it is found in bars and on tables throughout France.

- Hi, my name is Danny and what can I say? I am guy that lives in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area and is passionate about baking! I recently had my own baking business called “The Cupcake Man” and after two years decided to close and start a family. However I just can’t seem to stay out of the kitchen. It’s challenging, creative and therapeutic for me. All of the recipes you find here typically come from one of my cookbooks, food magazines, other food blogs, or a combination of any of the above. I have no formal culinary training and have taken a few baking class at my local bake store; most everything I’ve learned has been through trial and error, reading and research (and the occasional YouTube video).
